Medical Prescription for Physiotherapy
- You should have the prescription approved by the chief physician of your health insurance provider before starting therapy (fax approval is also possible), so that you can claim all treatments back from your insurance.
- Please note that both orthopedic specialists and general practitioners can refer you to physiotherapy.
- Typically, individual therapeutic exercises or individual physiotherapy will be prescribed.
- At your first therapy session, you will sign a treatment agreement with me.
What should you bring to therapy?
- Chief physician approval
- Medical reports, available X-rays, surgery reports
- Comfortable clothing
- Hairband for long hair
- Bikini top or bra
Reimbursement
- Due to your doctor's prescription, your health insurance will cover part of the costs for physiotherapy. You can deduct the remaining amount for tax purposes or submit it to your supplementary insurance.
- For the latest information, please contact your health insurance provider.

You generally pay me via bank transfer. At the end of the treatment series (usually 6-10 sessions), I will provide you with a consolidated invoice, which you can submit to your respective health insurance provider.
